Predicted Starting XI: West Ham vs United

With three games in a week and Ferguson’s reputation for squad rotation you’d expect to see a few changes for the game tomorrow night. Although I think he’ll make a few, I don’t think we’ll be seeing a completely different starting XI as Sir Alex will want to finish the league as quickly as possible.

The title can be wrapped up as early as Monday night at home to Aston Villa providing if we win tomorrow night and City drop points against either Wigan or Spurs at the weekend

Rafael was rested on Sunday so its looking a strong probability he’ll slot back in at right-back tomorrow. Ferdinand and Vidic both played at the weekend, and they are both approaching the latter stages of their careers so I can’t see them starting. Instead i’ve gone for Jonny Evans and Phil Jones at the back.

Nani and Cleverley also missed out against Stoke so they’ll be fresh for the West Ham game. Michael Carrick will be ever-present at the heart of our midfield, and Danny Welbeck will come back into the side on the left wing.

I’ve gone for the usual two up top for this one, Javier Hernandez didn’t set the world alight last time out so I reckon Rooney will be pushed forward into a more familiar role for the England hit man.

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 United
