Manchester United’s injury-hit squad takes on West Ham United this Saturday, and Louis van Gaal’s men will have to be at the top of their game if they want to claim all three points. Sam Allardyce has started playing a much more attractive brand of football this season, after direct orders from the board claimed that he’d lose his job if he continued with the ‘long ball’ stuff.
United have nine players out injured, and Blackett’s suspension means there are ten first-team players unavailable. Our defence in particular, is looking likely to be very makeshift, with Luke Shaw all set for his Manchester United debut.
Starting XI
De Gea; Rafael, Thorpe, Rojo, Shaw; Blind, Herrera, Di Maria; Mata, Rooney, Falcao
