After the torrid end to last season, today is the day where that ends and the buildup to attempting to win our trophy back begins. Every team obviously has to play each other home and away, but having certain games at certain times can be a big advantage.
We start with a tricky away trip to Goodison Park to play Everton on the opening day. The first derby of the season will be away at the Etihad on December 8th, and the home derby will be on the 6th April. This season we will end our campaign with a potential stumbling block away at West Brom.

At a first glance it doesn’t look too bad, definitely not as bad as last year anyway. Our games against the so called ‘big clubs’ throughout April and May are mostly at home so this should favour us. The new season starts here, so come on Reds, lets make it 20!
