The rumours began yesterday afternoon, when Manchester United’s summer transfer target Sadio Mane was dropped from the Southampton starting XI. Today, they continue, and Sky Sports’ Sunday Supplement were talking about the situation regarding the 23-year old today.
Members of the panel show say that Sadio Mane is trying to force a move through to Manchester United in the middle of the season, and thats the real reason why Ronald Koeman chose to drop the talented Senegal international.
Mane has been one of the Premier League success stories this term, especially on the counter attack where he is a real threat. He has electric pace, instinctive finishing and also that ability to bring teammates into play.
He’d certainly improve Manchester United’s attacking options, and he knows the Premier League quite well, having been at Southampton for the past two seasons, where he is making a real name for himself.
