Premier League striker hints he could move to Old Trafford this window

Manchester United Football Club have been struggling for goals this term, with Louis van Gaal clearly thinking about bringing in some backup during this transfer window. One man who the club have reportedly been looking at is Watford’s Odion Ighalo, and he’s had his say on the whole situation.

“I don’t think I’ll be moving but I’m not sure I’d say no if Manchester United called.” Ighalo began. “Manchester United were my team growing up. I loved watching Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke on TV.”

The Nigerian certainly knows where the back of the net is, and he obviously has chosen a good football team to support as well. Its always great when professionals speak out about their love for United, but honestly I find it hard to see how a move would happen in January.

Manchester United certainly need reinforcements in the striker role, and Ighalo would certainly be a good option. He wouldn’t mind playing in a rotational system, and when called upon he’d do a more than adequate job.
