Paris Saint-Germain are keen on potentially making a move for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
That’s according to Paris United, per Get France Football News. They say that PSG’s Sporting Director, Antero Henrique, wants to bring in the 30-year-old Fellaini because he is a free agent; as the club is worried about FFP regulations. However, the article does add that their new manager Thomas Tuchel isn’t interested in signing him.
The Fellaini saga has been rumbling on for months now, and I must admit, it’s beginning to get rather irritating. I was all for wanting him to remain a Red Devil, because he does offer something different; particularly late in games when United need a spark off the bench.
However, after he admitted that he was basically holding the club to ransom, my mindset changed. As the old saying goes, no single player is bigger than the club, and I’m sure the majority of fans would be delighted to see the back of the former Everton man.
At the end of the day, though, the power lies solely in Fellaini’s hands. No doubt he’ll have plenty of attractive options on the table, and with a month before his contract with United officially comes to an end, this saga could rumble on for a while yet…
