PSG ‘considering’ Marcus Rashford move this summer

PSG are weighing up a possible move to sign Marcus Rashford this coming summer.

Erik ten Hag suddenly has a Marcus Rashford issue to contend with. The Manchester United forward as absent for the Newport County game after missing training due to a night out in Belfast. Obviously, that’s a less than ideal attitude to have when you’re on £350,000-a-week.

That said, there’s never any doubting Rashford’s talent and ability. The Englishman is a player who, when fit and firing, is among the best in the business at what he does. Sadly, we’ve seldom seen that this season, which is surprising as last term was by far the best of his pro career.

No doubt sides are taking note of what’s happening with Rashy and considering making their play to bring him in, with PSG among the clubs who could look to make a transfer happen.

It’s the I Newspaper with the information. They state that the European giant is ‘considering’ making a move for the key United star, testing the striker’s commitment to the Reds along the way.

United have no plans to sell the academy graduate amid those recent off-field issues, though if his attitude doesn’t change, then the Reds’ plans just might…

This is the second time under the Ten Hag tenure where Rashford has been involved in off-field antics. First, it was showing up late for training on the eve of a game against Wolves. Now this latest binge drinking spree over in Belfast. It’s hardly a good look for the Reds’ poster boy.

Let’s hope that Rashy being fined a couple of weeks wages, along with negative media attention, will mean that the Englishman uses this to reignite that fire in his belly. We need him at his absolute best if we’re to start winning football games with regularity.
