Manchester United could well be bracing themselves, as reports from Le10Sport, translated by The Sun, suggest that PSG are weighing up a move to sign David de Gea next summer.
As we all know, world-class players will attract big-time interest and our favourite Spaniard is no exception to that rule. De Gea is one of the best in the business at what he does – and he’ll always get that attention, particularly when the transfer period rolls around.
The amount of money in the modern-day game is frightening, and when you see the £200million that PSG paid for Neymar, you’d imagine they’ll be willing to pay whatever it takes to sign De Gea if their interest is genuine.
On their books at the moment, the Ligue 1 club have both Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola, but neither are that world-class name that they clearly crave.
Dea Gea is brilliant, and he’s a real fan favourite at Manchester United. I’d urge the club to do whatever it takes to keep a hold of him, because he’s the type of footballer who’ll single-handedly win this club points throughout the duration of a long season.
