French giants PSG will consider a move to sign Marcus Rashford from Man United this summer.

Yesterday, we covered a bold claim which suggested that Manchester United would be open to cashing in on Marcus Rashford this summer.

Obviously, it would be quite the fall from grace for the player, who struggled mightily last season. He was that poor, Rashford did not make it into the European Championship squad for England.

Rashford is United’s highest earner. The Old Trafford club would like production from someone who fetches in £350,000-a-week. Hence, they’d be open to letting him leave if the right offer came their way.

Now, talkSPORT have provided an update on a potential move to PSG for Rashy.

According to their information, the European giant is ready to ‘step up’ their interest in the key United star, assuming they receive encouragement from the player’s side. PSG ‘will consider’ a move for Rashford.

PSG have been long-term admirers of Rashford and what better way to replace Kylian Mbappe than with one of the most talented left-wingers in the world?

With money thought to be tight at Old Trafford, a big-money Rashford sale could allow Erik ten Hag to secure his primary transfer targets this summer, though it’s all dependent on what sort of valuation PSG place on the Englishman.

At this point, a clean break may be best for all involved parties. I love Rashford. I always will. However, his off-field attitude problems raise question marks about his commitment, which is a damning indictment on the player who was born and raised a Manchester United fan.
