
Manchester United fans have something to look forward to at the moment, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the helm, who has been brought in to change things at Old Trafford.
However, the man from Norway is only the interim boss, with the search for a permanent replacement likely already underway. The name on everyones lips is Mauricio Pochettino, with the Argentine’s style of play and promotion of youth his biggest selling points.
Now, according to ex-Spurs midfielder Jamie Redknapp, United will go all out to get Poch, and he thinks that the club will land their man.
“I think Manchester United will get him. I think they will go for it and I think they will get him.” Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
“Of course [Spurs fans should be worried] because he’s the special one, he’s a great manager that everyone would want at their club.

It sounds arrogant and somewhat disrespectful, but whichever way you look at it, United is a step up from Spurs. We’re just a bigger club historically, so why wouldn’t he want to come in and manage the biggest side in England?
There would be money to be spent and he’d get time to mould this squad into his image. It definitely seems like the way forward, and perhaps it’d give Pochettino that opportunity to earn his first trophy as a professional manager.
For now, it’s up to United to decide who they want. Who knows, Solskjaer may do well and throw his name into the ring to land the job permanently.
One thing is for certain, United made the right decision to let Mourinho go, and it’ll be intriguing to see what happens over the next six months or so.
