Raphael Varane has sent a message to the fans after signing for Man United.
Manchester United fans have their newest hero; Raphael Varane. The Frenchman was officially announced as a Red Devil on the Old Trafford turf just prior to kick-off yesterday. It’s fair to say the fans were delighted.
Varane makes the move to Manchester with promise aplenty. He’s never lost a final in 14 attempts, while cementing his status as one of the best in the world in his position.
Like us fans, it looks as though Varane is excited for this new journey at the club he supposedly supported as a boy. No doubt walking out and taking a selfie with the Stretford End yesterday would have been an incredibly special moment.
Anyway this morning, Varane has sent a thankful message to the fans, live from the AON Training Complex it seems! Check it out below:
What I like most about Varane is that he seems like a super nice guy who is incredibly thankful of the position he’s in.
Now, the hard work starts. He won’t have an easy task at displacing Victor Lindelof from the starting line-up, as the Ice Man was solid against Leeds United yesterday.
You do get the feeling that Varane will eventually earn a starting job, though in typical fashion, Solskjaer will no doubt give him all the time in the world to get fully up to speed.
Varane’s already establishing a wonderful connection with the fans and he hasn’t even played a game yet! No doubt if he’s half the player we all expect him to be, United have a top-class star on their hands.
Welcome to the biggest club in the world, Raphael!
