Manchester United could be about to pull off one of the biggest transfers of the summer, and the window isn’t even open yet. According to the Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, Madrid could be tempted into parting with James Rodriguez, but only if the money is right.
“All I can say that RMD are more than happy to sell him if they get the right amount of money.” Guillem Balague said.
Manchester United spent huge money on bringing in Juan Mata as a #10, but the Spaniard hasn’t really cut it for the most part, and if Jose Mourinho comes in, you’d imagine he’ll be sold.
James Rodriguez is world class, and one thing he has that the aforementioned Mata doesn’t is pace, which is crucial in England. The Columbian loves a goal, has great ability on the ball and can create something out of nothing; A truly world class signing if Manchester United can tempt Real Madrid into selling.
