Jose Mourinho is a man on a mission at the moment, after completed the signature of Eric Bailly, and closing in on a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Now, another huge deal looks close, and it comes from the highly reliable Gianluca Di Marzio.
He says that Manchester United have agreed a deal to bring in Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer, after the Armenian has already found a house in the North-West.
Mkhitaryan was one of the standout players in Germany last summer, and now Jose Mourinho has lured another brilliant signing into the club – before the window has officially opened.
The 27-year-old had just one year left to run on his current contract with Borussia Dortmund, and it always felt like he was pushing for a move away as soon as Manchester United’s interest became clear.
His desire to make the move to Old Trafford even without Champions League football says a lot about him, though, and he desperately wants to play for this club which is brilliant to hear.
