With fans unrest towards Louis van Gaal clear, Manchester United Football Club could look at bringing a new manager in if the bad run of form continues. After Chelsea FC sacked Jose Mourinho, Manchester United could well swoop for the Portuguese man as their Van Gaal replacement, a reputable source claims.
Ian McGarry of the BBC had his say pretty much as the sacking happened, and said that Manchester United will be looking at Jose Mourinho following the event.
McGarry said: “I think Mourinho’s standing as one of the world’s best coaches will not be that badly affected by this. There will be people queuing up in the Premier League.”
Then he was quizzed about whether United would be interested: “Absolutely, I think Mourinho has always coveted that job.”
There is no doubting his talents in the short-term. Jose Mourinho is a fantastic manager, but does he suit United? I don’t think so. He doesn’t believe in youth, he plays dull football and after a couple of seasons he tends to leave his club in a worse state in which he found it…
