Reliable source says Manchester United interested in prolific striker

Manchester United Football Club have been struggling up front of late, with Louis van Gaal’s men scoring 24 times in their 20 league games so far this term. The Old Trafford club could well be tempted to spend big in January to bolster their front line, and a reliable source claims United are monitoring Romelu Lukaku’s situation.

De Telegraaf, the Dutch media outlet who correctly called Manchester United’s appointment of Louis van Gaal, say that the United are keeping tabs on Everton’s front man, and are considering moving in for the Belgian.

Lukaku, 22, certainly wouldn’t come cheap however. De Telegraaf go on to say that Manchester United would have to dish out €50million to secure the services of the favourite for the Premier League Golden Boot.

He has it all. Pace, power, ability in the air as well as a real knack for finishing with both feet. Lukaku is without doubt the in-form striker in the Premier League at the moment, and with the right service around him, he could be absolutely deadly.
