Robin van Persie hints at Juventus move

Louis van gala clearly has his transfer strategy laid out, with the Iron Tulip preparing to let some big names go, whilst bringing in new players that fit his famous philosophy and image. One player who could find his way out the exit door is Robin van Persie.

Whilst speaking to the Mirror, he hinted a move to Juve could happen this summer.

“I still speak to my old mate Patrice.” Van Persie began.

“He has told me stories about how Juventus train, how hard they work and how they manage to be successful.”

“They have a fantastic spirit – a totally different approach from English or Dutch players before games. They grab each other by the head, they shout at each other to pump each other up.” He added.

“And they also have big running sessions after games. Patrice has showed me there are many ways to be successful.”

Robin van Persie did exactly what he came here for by winning the Premier League. However the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson arguably hit him the hardest, and he hasn’t looked half the player since.

Now is probably the best time for all involved if he were to move on, as it’d get his huge wages off the wage bill. Lets face it, he isn’t getting any younger.
