Romelu Lukaku giving extra coaching sessions to talented Man United striker: report

Just when you thought you couldn’t love Romelu Lukaku any more…

News breaks that the Manchester United forward has been spending an extra 30 minutes after training, coaching Marcus Rashford. That’s in an article written by The Metro.

Apparently, the pair have been doing attacking drills following the end of the regular session, and as a fan, this is the sort of stuff you love to see.

Lukaku has no duty to help out Rashford, in fact, it may even hurt him in the long run as the Belgium international could lose his place to the Englishman. However, this is the perfect teammate. He wants to win at all costs. Lukaku always puts the team first.

In light of all this ‘Rashford should leave United’ media furore, this should put those on hold for the foreseeable future. The man from Wythenshawe is doing all he can to force his way back into the team. No doubt the minutes will come his way – starting with a game tonight against Young Boys.

This is teammates getting along at the highest order. If they can take this relationship to their on-field exploits, this could well be a front two that could terrorise defences for the next half-decade at the very least…
