Manchester United’s summer spending spree is set to be another huge one, and more than half of that budget could be splurged on a certain Welshman named Gareth Bale. Bale, 25, has become unsettled with life at Madrid after a series of poor performances.
The Bernabau crowd have started to turn on the winger in recent months, and that has led to Bale becoming gradually unhappy with life in the Spanish capital.
According to AS, Bale spoke to Madrid representatives about his future at the club, and asked them if they want to sell him.
They also went on to add that United’s current assistant manager Ryan Giggs has been in contact with Bale about his future.
Signing Bale would be massive for Manchester United. Every big club tends to try and bring in that marquee signing every summer, and he’d certainly improve our starting line-up considerably.
We know he can do it in England, but my only concern would be the fee. Madrid will demand something close to the world record amount they paid for him, and thats always going to be a huge risk.
Would Bale be worth the huge outlay? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
