Sanchez could have Inter Milan medical on Tuesday: report

Manchester United Football Club made a grave error when they chose to sign Alexis Sanchez. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, eh?

The 30-year-old Chilean has struggled ever since walking through the entrance door. Eighteen months later, his Old Trafford nightmare could be over…

According to Sky Sports on their transfer centre, citing their Italian branch, Sanchez could have an Inter Milan medical on Tuesday (today), ahead of a loan move to the San Siro. Apparently, Antonio Conte’s new side will pay half of his wages while having the option to sign United’s #7 permanently for £14m next summer.

First and foremost, you just get the impression that United want him gone. Sanchez has only had a negative effect on the dressing room and his confidence looks completely shot. It’ll be hard for him to turn things around from here…

On the flip side, this could turn out to be a masterstroke by Conte and Inter. It’s a relatively risk-free deal to them, and quite frankly I’d be surprised if they signed him permanently however well he does over in the Serie A.

He’s just too old and I fear United are stuck with this contract until it expires in three-years time. Though a loan deal does make sense for now…
