Jadon Sancho back with BVB, talks with Man United continuing

Manchester United Football Club are locked in a brewing transfer saga with Borussia Dortmund. Now, the Red Devils transfer target, Jadon Sancho, is back in training with BVB…

The story comes from Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed that the United target has linked up with his current team as their camp begins today.

Time for United is running out. In fact, the early deadline set by Borussia Dortmund is today – August 10th…

As of right now, personal terms will not be a problem, however, it’s still up to United and Dortmund to come to an agreement in regards to a transfer fee.

Now, it comes down to whether Dortmund will stick to their guns that their deadline looks like it is going to pass. The Red Devils are definitely taking a gamble in that regard, though money definitely talks.

Borussia Dortmund’s season starts in about a month. Understandably, they want time to identify and buy a replacement. The longer this drags on, the less-willing the German club will be when it comes to selling Sancho. Simply put, United need to act quickly.

Will a deal be reached?

Here at Old Trafford Faithful, we’ve been pretty confident about this one for a while. We’re still thinking a move will happen this summer, though I’m starting to have doubts.

I get it, negotiations are tough and long. However, a club of United’s stature should be able to work far quicker than they are currently doing. Heck, just look at Chelsea and Manchester City this summer, they’ve identified their targets and signed them up with no issues at all.

It’s just frustrating. It happened with Harry Maguire last summer and Bruno Fernandes in January. Something similar is unfolding here. I just hope it doesn’t cost them…
