Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho took the decision to strip Paul Pogba of the captaincy. Since then, the problems have only gone from bad to worse.
After an apparent bust-up in training today, it seems as though several members of the United playing squad have picked their side; and it isn’t good news for the self-proclaimed Special One.

Player power is so prevalent in the modern-day game. The superstar footballers within the dressing room hold all the cards. As soon as you lose the backing of your key men, it’s all-but curtains.
Mourinho will know this, he has been in this situation before, just ask Chelsea and Eden Hazard. That relationship ended with an extremely sour taste left in the mouth.
I’m not a fan of how Pogba has gone about this, but Mourinho isn’t doing himself any favours either. It’s a horrific situation to be in – one that United usually don’t allow to happen – particularly in the glory days of Sir Alex Ferguson.
