Shinji Kagawa to Utd is reportedly a done deal

We look to be the early frontrunners for Dortmund attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa, the Japanese international has won back to back league titles for his club, and has already racked up 29 international caps.

He has already confirmed he is looking for a move away after rejecting a new contract with the German side, with his current deal ending in 2013. Kagawa has insisted that he is concentrating on being a Dortmund player until the 12th May, which is the cup final date against Bayern Munich.

Reports has shown that he has already made his decision in joining us, however these rumours are yet to be confirmed.

“On 12th May I will play my last game with Borussia Dortmund”, said the 23-year-old to TV Osaka.

“Then I’ll start a new chapter with Manchester United”, he added.

Kagawa signed for Dortmund for a mere €350,000 from Japanese side Cerezo Osaka, if we were to sign him the fee would once again be relatively cheap due to his contract running out the season after.

Personally, from what i’ve seen I like him as a player, he can pass the ball well and has great vision. Hopefully it’s the first of many summer signings.
