Sky Bet suspend betting on right-back joining Manchester United

Manchester United and Louis van Gaal are seemingly in the market for a new right-back this window, after being consistently linked with the likes of Nathaniel Clyne and Seamus Coleman. This evening we’ve seen a development in that, as Sky Bet have stopped taking bets on Coleman making the move to Old Trafford.

One punter took to Twitter to ask Sky Bet whether they’d offer that market, with Sky quickly responding saying that they wouldn’t offer any odds on that particular bet at this moment in time further fuelling the fire.

Coleman, 26, was Everton’s standout performer last season, and he’d certainly provide competition at right-back for the in-form Antonio Valencia. You do wonder whether that means the end for Rafael da Silva though, who has struggled to force his way into Louis van Gaal’s plans since picking up an injury earlier in the season.
