Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez problem just will not go away. Decisions need to be made. Should the club stick, and keep the Chilean at the club to make up the numbers? Or should they twist and let him go, thus giving the opportunity to the Red Devils’ young players…
It’s a tricky situation, though Sky Sports News, citing their Italian branch, have offered an important update on Sanchez’s future.
They state that talks between United and Inter Milan are continuing, with the Serie A club ‘optimistic’ that they can agree an £11million loan deal for the United star.
Sanchez has struggled during his eighteen-month stint at Old Trafford. Injuries haven’t helped, while neither has a change in manager…
The question is, do United cut their losses and move on from Sanchez while there is an offer, albeit a loan one, on the table. Or do they give him one final chance?
No doubt that United will still be covering a large portion of Sanchez’s wages if he does go on loan to Inter, but the Reds will likely be expecting that. After all, he’s under contract for practically another three years…
Hopefully, some sort of agreement can be reached before the European deadline on September 2nd…
