Jose Mourinho is now installed as Manchester United manager, and now the gaffer is already making transfer arrangements. With a deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic thought to be close, the self-proclaimed Special One is now eyeing a move for a centre-back.
That has led to Manchester United showing an interest in Sevilla’s Eric Bailly, according to Sky Sports News. The English media outlet claim that United are in talks with Sevilla to bring in the 22-year old.
However, they’ll face stiff competition to land him, with heavy-hitters like Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and FC Barcelona all interested.

Although there is no release clause in his contract, the fact that several clubs are interested in signing him has driven Bailly’s price upwards of £30million which could be deemed quite expensive.
In terms of style of play, he is quick, very physical and a tough tackler. Above all he is a no-nonsense defender, which is something Manchester United have been crying out for.
