Manchester United look to be closing in on a deal for Torino’s right-back Matteo Darmian, meaning that the club will be prepared to listen to offers for one of the current right-backs at the club, and according to Sky Sports News, Louis van Gaal is willing to listen to offers for Rafael da Silva.
The Brazilian right-back failed to impress the manager last term, as Van Gaal opted to go for Antonio Valencia in that spot ahead of a more natural option in Rafael.
After a series of injuries, it seems as though Rafael’s time at United is up and the club are preparing to sell the fan-favourite.
The Manchester Evening News suggested that three of the clubs interested in the 24-year old were Napoli, Galatasaray and Fiorentina, so it looks as though he won’t be short of options when it comes to it.
