Manchester United have added Eric Bailly to the playing squad, with moves for the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic also in the offing. The club clearly aren’t done there, though, with Jose Mourinho looking to bring another forward into the mix, according to the latest reports.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who works for Sky Sports News, The Guardian and Gianluca Di Marzio has spoken. He reckons that Manchester United have started talks with Breel Embolo’s agent about a possible move.
He adds that the clubs haven’t begun to talk about the player yet, and United are just testing the waters in regards to the talented Swiss striker.
You’d imagine that nothing concrete will happen until after the European Championships due to Embolo’s participation with Switzerland, but he clearly is a talent.
Personally I’d prefer the club to go after reinforcements out wide and in the middle of the park rather than another talented out-and-out striker, because we already have Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford who fit that bill wonderfully.

Manchester United started talks only with Breel Embolo agent. Not yet with Basel. Just to ask informations about his future. #MUFC
