Just like buses, good news for Manchester United is seemingly coming in twos.
After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s shock permanent appointment yesterday, Red Devils fans are to get another massive lift on the back of it.
According to Sky Sports News, Marcus Rashford is now ready to commit to a new United contract following the Baby Faced Assassin getting a three-year deal.
Apparently, it’s United’s turn to make the next move after several rounds of positive talks and I’d be surprised if the club didn’t immediately go in with an offer that suits all parties.
Everyone loves a homegrown superstar and Rashford is thriving under Solskjaer right now. We’re immensely lucky to have him and the fact that he’s now ready to sign a new deal tells you just how much he values his role under this new regime.
With some key games coming up, United will be looking at Rashford to keep producing the goods, and how amazing would it be if after his PSG away heroics, the young Mancunian follows that up with something special against FC Barcelona.
Anyway, the sooner Rashford puts pen to paper, the better it is for all involved.
