Manchester United Football Club have cooled their interest in Harry Maguire, while making Yerry Mina their top summer transfer target.
That’s according to Sky Sports News, with just one week left in the transfer window, Edward Woodward is going to be a busy man.
Rumours linking United with a move to Maguire surfaced last week, however, it always looked as though Jose Mourinho would have a tough task to tempt Leicester City into selling. That pursuit has obviously ended. The chase to sign Mina has begun.

Honestly, this just smacks of desperation. So far, the Old Trafford club have had an extremely disappointing transfer window. At this point, it looks as though things are about to get worse…
I thought United would be going for that experienced leader at the back, but that’s clearly not the case. Mourinho will take anyone he can get right now; presumably so he doesn’t have to put all his faith in Chris Smalling for another twelve months.
Sure, Mina had a good World Cup, but there is a reason why Barcelona fans want him out after just six months. It’s certainly going to be intriguing to see how this one plays out, most notably whether United have left themselves with enough time to get the deal done…
