Manchester United Football Club are making swift progress in the pursuit of making Jose Mourinho their next manager, and according to Sky Sports News, we won’t be waiting long. They say that an official deal is set to be completed within 48 hours.
The English media outlet add that the negotiation of personal terms didn’t take long at all, due to Jose desire to manage Manchester United Football Club.
James Cooper of Sky Sports News was speaking live outside of Old Trafford earlier today, and he added that the deal could be announced as early as tomorrow, or Thursday at the latest.
This certainly bolds well, as its clear that the Portuguese manager really wants to manage at the Theatre of Dreams, and perhaps this is the job in which he hangs around for more than the customary three years.
Mourinho’s intentions were clear – he wanted this deal done before the European Championships so he has time to bring in some of his transfer targets before the big competition gets underway.
