Spaniard dismisses leaving Manchester United any time soon

Manchester United’s Juan Mata was thought to not be one of Louis van Gaal’s favourite players before this season, but the Iron Tulip has stuck by the Spaniard and that faith has been rewarded.

Mata was asked about the possibility of leaving United and returning to his home country of Spain, but he quashed those links immediately saying he has plenty to do at United.

“Right now I don’t even think about it. I miss family, my friends, but for now I’m very well at Manchester (United). I have the feeling that I have just arrived here and I still have many things to do.” Juan Mata said.

“Playing in England is a very positive experience. I advise every player to spend at least one year in the Premier League, because in terms of fans, the league, the structure… what football represents is fantastic.”

Juan Mata’s commitment to the cause has been fantastic at the start of this season. He has certainly been one of the better performers for Manchester United, and Louis van Gaal has shown plenty of faith in him by rarely dropping him to the bench.
