Struggling Man United superstar ready to take wage cut to leave Old Trafford: report

For Alexis Sanchez, his Manchester United career has certainly been one to forget.

We’ve seen nothing close to his best which is massively disappointing, and now, after being here for over a year – the question has to be asked, should he leave?

Well, it seems as though Sanchez himself is ready to go through the exit door, as according to the Daily Star, the 30-year-old is willing to take a wage cut to leave United…

Injuries haven’t helped, while being in and out of the team has disrupted his rhythm, but that’s no excuse when you have the ability he has.

Sanchez has told his representatives that he wants to depart from Old Trafford this summer – but that’s easier said than done as nobody will want to pick up his huge £500,000-a-week wage. Credit where it’s due, though, he’s ready to take a hit in that regard.

Sometimes, things just don’t work out. For United and Sanchez it already feels as though this transfer is too far gone for it to work out. Perhaps it’s best to let him go as soon as possible and get his wages off the books. I’m just not sure if there any elite teams that’ll want to take a punt on him…
