Manchester United take on Juventus in their own backyard tomorrow, and what a game we have in store.
Before the huge clash, it looks as though the Daily Mirror have got their hands on the starting line-ups early, on the rare occasion that a leak has come to the fore a whole 24 hours before kick-off.
They say that Jose Mourinho will only make one change from the side that beat AFC Bournemouth at the weekend – with Ander Herrera coming into the team in place of Fred.
What that means is Marcus Rashford will remain a substitute despite scoring the winner last time out, with Juan Mata getting the nod ahead of the Wythenshawe-born-winger.
Herrera starting seems like a no-brainer to me. He was absolutely excellent against Bournemouth. His tenacity, energy and desire really showed, and without him, I feel confident in saying that United wouldn’t win that game.
I must admit that I’m also thrilled to see Alexis Sanchez getting another start. His movement and drive played a real part in United’s levelling goal that was eventually scored by Anthony Martial, and it’s easy to forget that his best years in England came while he was playing through the middle rather than out wide.
Daily Mirror’s rumoured starting line-up:
De Gea; Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Matic, Herrera, Pogba; Mata, Martial, Sanchez.
