Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon is ready to turn down Manchester United, in favour of a move to Tottenham Hotspur, The Sun claim.
The 17-year-old has been in sensational form for The Cottagers recently, helping propel them to a Championship play-off place. His great run has obviously led to interest from huge clubs, but it looks as though the left-sided player has his eyes set on a move to the new White Hart Lane.
Whatever decision Sessegnon makes, it seems likely that Fulham will earn themselves a small fortune when they sell the Englishman who is under contract until 2020.
Left-back is an interesting area where Manchester United are concerned. Obviously, Jose Mourinho has been preferring Ashley Young to Luke Shaw recently, as you get the feeling the self-proclaimed Special One doesn’t fully trust the ex-Southampton defender.
I personally wouldn’t be surprised to see a new left-sided defender added to the squad over the summer, but in all honesty, it’d be nice to see a player with more seniority brought in. Our squad is already extremely young, and the experience a slightly older defender would bring to the table would benefit the squad as a whole.
