Manchester United looked a shoe-in to finish in the top four before the turn of the year. However, during the Christmas period Louis van Gaal’s men hit a bad run of form, and they’ve been playing catch-up ever since.
With just three games left, there is still a slim hope of United making it into a Champions League spot, however I don’t mean to kill the mood, but heres exactly they won’t.
Louis van Gaal’s men have not won a Premier League match outside of Manchester since January, which is a shocking stat for a club that is supposed to be challenging for major honours.
With away games against Norwich and West Ham coming up, before closing the season at home to Bournemouth, it isn’t looking good for our top four hopes.
If the club do finish the season fifth or lower, change is definitely needed. Louis van Gaal came with so much promise, but at this point in time it isn’t really looking good for Manchester United as a whole.
