Manchester United Football Club took the decision to let Ryan Giggs depart from Old Trafford over the summer, as the Welshman clearly didn’t want to wait any longer for an opportunity in management. However, his hunt for a job goes on as he didn’t manage to persuade the Swansea City board to hire him.
He did have an interview, but Daily Mail journalist Riath Al-Samarrai says he wasn’t very impressive in that situation which eventually led to Bob Bradley getting the job instead.
Check out Riath Al-Samarrai’s tweet here:
I'm told Clement impressed at Swansea interview, Giggs less so. There were doubts about Marcelino's English. Met Bradley twice. @MailSport

This msut be a real killer blow for a man with Welsh blood flowing through his veins, but you can certainly understand their decision not to hire someone who is unproven in management like Giggs.
You just wonder when that opportunity will arise, though, because football nowadays is so results-based, and Premier League teams demand instant success rather than allowing a young manager to come in and take some time to find his feet.
Perhaps a management job down a league or two would be a good start for him, just to get his foot in the door.
