Three fringe players who must play for Manchester United week-in week-out

Manchester United put in one of the best performances under Louis van Gaal against Everton over the weekend, and it was absolutely fantastic to see just how well the side did in a potentially tricky fixture. Three players came back into the side for the game, and they must play every week.

Ander Herrera is obviously first up, and the way he bossed the #10 role at Goodison Park was an absolute joy to watch. He has been by far and away the best attacking midfielder we’ve seen deployed in that position this season, and there is no doubting he has the potential to make it his own.

Next up is Morgan Schneiderlin. The Frenchman has found himself in and out of the team over the last month or so, but its clear he must start. Michael Carrick and Bastian Schweinsteiger cannot play together as they aren’t mobile enough, but Schneiderlin offers that whilst also bringing superb protection to the back four.

Last but not least is Marcos Rojo, and the Argentinian must play at left-back for the foreseeable future whilst Luke Shaw is injured. His defensive ability is more than good enough, and he also offers a threat going forward which was on display with a superb ball for Ander Herrera’s goal at the weekend.
