Tim Fosu-Mensah labels Man United a ‘beautiful club’ as he outlines future goals

Manchester United Football Club returns next weekend, with a home game against West Bromwich Albion. The Red Devils will be hoping to continue their push up the table, and the rest would have certainly done some players the world of good.

One man who’ll be very well rested is Timothy Fosu-Mensah. The talented right-back made a great impression towards the back end of last season under Louis van Gaal, but this year, he really hasn’t had that many minutes on the field.

That doesn’t seem to have dampened his spirits in the slightest, though, and in an interview with ManUtd.com, the 19-year-old answered various intriguing questions.

The Dutchman was asked what would be his ‘ultimate dream’, he responded:

“To play as long as I can for this beautiful club and win as many trophies as I can for United. To win the Champions League and then the World Cup. These are my boyhood dreams.”

Alright, this season may not have gone exactly according to plan for Fosu-Mensah, but there is absolutely no denying his talents and abilities. Personally, I would have loved to have seen more minutes for him, but you have to say that Antonio Valencia has that right-back position on lockdown right now.

It’s up to the player to keep working hard, remain patient and when he gets that opportunity, he has to grasp it with both hands. We all know how capable of a footballer he is, and it’s great to see him remaining positive.
