Bayern Munich’s star midfielder Toni Kroos, is apparently considering a move to Manchester United in the summer, claims his younger brother. Felix Kroos, who plays for Werder Bremen has claimed that older brother Toni now has to make an important decision about his future.
David Moyes has watched Toni Kroos play a number of times this season, including Bayern’s game against Arsenal when he scored an absolute pearler of a goal in a Man of the Match performance.
The 24-year old still hasn’t signed a new deal at Bayern Munich, and Manchester United were given a boost a couple of weeks ago when Franz Beckenbauer claimed that Bayern won’t be held to ransom by Kroos.
These comments from his brother Felix, have further strengthened our pursuit in landing the German international.
Felix Kroos said:
‘We have already talked about it. Manchester has been the team of my dreams since I was a child.
‘However, I don’t give him any advice. He will take a good decision for himself. There are worse situations than having to decide something like that.’
Its positive for United that Toni Kroos is seriously considering a move to United despite our current situation. When you have players like Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie in the side a move to Old Trafford is still a tempting prospect despite the lack of Champions League football.
