Manchester United could be subject to a bid from Liverpool for Ecuador winger Antonio Valencia, according to reports. The 28-year old winger has one year left on his contract, and The Metro claim a bid could happen after the World Cup.
Valencia endured a tough season at Manchester United under David Moyes, and throughout the whole campaign he looked bereft of confidence. Whether that’s due to Moyes’ tactics or the horrific leg break he suffered from a few years ago I’m not too sure.
No fee has been discussed by the media outlet, and you’d suspect it’d cost somewhere between 7-10million for United to be convinced to part with Valencia.
Selling to Liverpool is never a good idea though,because if he’d turns out to have a world class season it could comeback to haunt us.
