Manchester United are the current favourites for the signature of highly rated Nico Gaitan from Benfica, according to A’Bola. Rated at €18m, Gaitan was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United a couple of years ago, but it never came to fruition.
Gaitan had an excellent season for Benfica, but didn’t manage to secure himself a place in Argentina’s World Cup squad.
It also suggests that Bebe could be used in the deal, who had an excellent season on loan in his native Portugal.
