Manchester United’s season isn’t finished yet, thanks to a bomb scare at Old Trafford and the FA Cup final looming. However that hasn’t stopped England manager Roy Hodgson in naming his 26-man squad for the European Championship friendlies.
Included in the squad was a huge selection in Marcus Rashford. The young man has been outstanding since February, and has really made a massive impact at Manchester United; Now The Three Lions have taken a gamble by including him. Whilst on the subject of the eagerly awaited European Championships, why not get a look at some accumulator tips.
Wayne Rooney, England’s captain has obviously made the cut, but his position in the team is by no means a guarantee, particularly given the form of some of the strikers included. We could well see him deployed in midfield.
The third Red to find himself involved in the setup is Chris Smalling. The central defender is the best in the country at the moment, and has to be one of the first names on the team sheet.
The 26-man squad will be cut to 23 before the European Championships, so Marcus Rashford will have to make an impact immediately.
