United would’ve probably wanted an easier tie as they start their bid to win the FA Cup for the first time since way back in 2004. The last we met the Hammers in a cup tie, West Ham ran out comfortable 4-0 winners back in 2010s Capital One Cup clash, you’d expect United to put up much more of a fight this time round however.
The tie will be played on either the 5th or 6th of January next year, and it’ll probably end up being one of the televised games so I’d expect it to be moved over to the Sunday.
