After missing out on Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas, young French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia has emerged as Moyes’ next target, according to the Manchester Evening News. The 20-year old played against United for Sevilla on Friday, and put in an excellent performance.
Kondogbia is valued somewhere around the €15-20m mark, and has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s top clubs in the form of Juventus and Real Madrid.
He’d certainly add something to our midfield, but I’d like us to sign a player who are at the peak of their career so they can come into the team and make a big impression straight away.
The Sevilla man has represented France at U20 level, and has recently scored in the U20 World Cup in Turkey.
