The club have today confirmed that they have launched an online pay-per-view service, where fans will be able to watch United on any device with an internet connection. The first game using this system will be against AIK Fotboll next Tuesday, and it’ll cost £5.95.
Although it sounds like a great idea by United, the price of £5.95 per game seems very steep. Especially when you factor in that you can watch the very same game on various streaming sites for free.
Additionally, when you think about all the lucrative television deals the club have, you wonder just how many games they’ll be able to show live.
