Manchester United have been heavily linked with Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos in recent weeks, and at first I thought that we’d have no chance whatsoever in signing him. However as the transfer saga rumbles on, United have been given encouragement time and time again, and today we’ve been rewarded with another little boost.
Whilst speaking to the media, the 24-year old playmaker said:
“No decision has been made [About his future]. It is no secret that the Premier League is a possibility for me”
Reports have claimed that United will be happy to offer Kroos a huge £250k a week, vastly improving the current wages he receives at Bayern. We all know money is a key factor in the modern-day game and if we offer him enough, there is absolutely no reason why we cannot persuade him to come to Old Trafford.
For all thats gone wrong this season, one thing that David Moyes deserves credit for is the way that he has gone about our business in the transfer window. He managed to get Wayne Rooney to stay, signed Januzaj on a long-term contract and brought in Juan Mata in January. It also looks like Fellaini is playing much better football, too.
