Kitbag.com have recently announced that Robin van Persie printed shirts account for a massive 25.4% of all football shirts sold. In a move that looks a real coup on the field, the shirt sales off the field certainly help the clubs bank balance. Wayne Rooney, Shinji Kagawa and Paul Scholes also feature in the top 10.
Ryan Giggs and Javier Hernandez both have slipped out of the top ten since last year, and one of the replacements was the other United new-boy Shinji Kagawa who was branded a “shirt seller” by opposistion fans although his recent performances suggest otherwise.
