Victor Lindelof back in Man United training following injury

Victor Lindelof has been spotted back in Man United training following injury.

Manchester United have had to wait their turn for their midweek game, being the last fixture of the round. However tonight, the Red Devils take on Leicester City at the King Power stadium.

The Old Trafford club will be looking to make it three wins on the trot after a poor start to the campaign – though Brendan Rodgers’ side always make it tough for us – particularly when they’re at home.

Erik ten Hag has showed a willingness to adapt his tactics depending on the game. No doubt this one will require sheer grit and determination from the outset. It’ll be about working harder than our opponents here, giving themselves the best chance at victory by constantly pressing from the front.

Ahead of the match, United have been given an injury lift, with Victor Lindelof spotted back in training. The Swede took to Twitter himself to share the photos.

Lindelof’s future is an intriguing one. It’s blatantly obvious he will not be going anywhere during this window, though. In terms of pecking order, I’d probably have him as fourth choice behind Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire.

That begs the question as to how many games Lindelof will actually play this season…

Martinez and Varane are playing brilliantly right now so Ten Hag will likely want to keep that rolling. Maguire will be the first port of call if one of those two gets injured or suspended, particularly as he is club captain.

It’s a weird situation. Lindelof himself has blown hot and cold since joining from SL Benfica, but I would like to see him in this new Ten Hag system before a final judgement is made.
