Victor Lindelof could well leave Man United this summer, as Erik ten Hag continues to overhaul his playing squad.

Erik ten Hag has had two summer transfers windows to mould this Manchester United squad into one that better fits his image. Moving on from players has proven tough due to their overinflated wages, hence, it’s taking a little longer than we’d all like.

One man who certainly divides opinion is Victor Lindelof. The Ice Man has been playing well when called upon over the last twelve months, though you always had the impression that if the right offer came in, United would sell up.

Inter Live now have an article about transfers, including some information on Lindelof. Apparently, a move to Saudi Arabia could be in the offing, though United are trying to use the Swede in a deal with Inter Milan, in order to sign Benjamin Pavard.

Apparently, Inter aren’t keen on that idea due to Lindelof’s unimpressive performances since making the move to Manchester, coupled with his injury history.

That said, the future of the United centre-back is said to be ‘projected away’ from the Reds, as the club look to undergo a ‘mini revolution’ this summer, as the player overhaul could continue.

Although an Inter move doesn’t look like a real possibility, a transfer to Saudi, or elsewhere, could well be in the offing.

It would help free up some cash, with Lindelof on a pretty hefty weekly wage. You’d also expect to see United receive a semi-decent transfer fee for the centre-half. As things stand, he’s probably fourth choice centre-back at best when everyone is fit. Hence, it would make sense to sell if the right offer does come in.

Lindelof doesn’t strike me as someone who’d chase the money and head to Saudi. I’d also assume they’ll be several European offers coming Lindelof’s way as soon as club’s start to get wind of his availability.
