Manchester United made the swoop for the once great Victor Valdes in January, as the experienced Spaniard penned a contract at Old Trafford after becoming a free agent due to an horrific injury which kept him out for a lengthy period.
Valdes still hasn’t made his debut for the club, with many anticipating that he is set to take over the reigns once David de Gea leaves in the summer.
However that has been quashed by The Mirror, as they say that United will look to sign a replacement rather than make Valdes first-choice.
That means either Valdes hasn’t been impressing in training whatsoever, or the club have always seen him as a backup goalkeeper.
Why not give him a go from now until the end of the season, lets see exactly what he can do and judge him in an high-pressure situation before instantly deciding that he isn’t good enough.
